An interview with Stuart Holmes who climbed and flew from Ama Dablam in Nepal
British paraglider pilot Stuart Holmes became the first person to speed fly from the summit of Ama Dablam on 21 November last year. He launched a Gin Yak from the very top of the 6,812 m mountain and completed the 2,300 m descent in 10 minutes. In total he spent only 27 hours on the mountain, compared to an average climbing time of five days.
