Cross Country issue 138

Cross Country magazine, Nov/Dec 2012 Meeting Babu Sunuwar and Lakpa Sherpa was the highlight of issue 138 for me. The pair flew a tandem paraglider from the summit of Everest in May 2011 and then flew, cycled and kayaked to the sea at the Bay of Bengal. I wrote up their story for the magazine.

Also on the subject of the Himalaya were incredible flights in the K2 region, and a group of sponsored Red Bull pilots trying to break the 8,000m barrier in the Karakoram. Great photos.
